32-летний заключенный Мехмет Али Кайан, осужденный на 11 лет и 6 месяце за причастность к «террористической организации», рассказал по телефону семье, что подвергся пыткам.
По словам мужчины, надзиратели пытают заключенных, ломают руки и ноги, бьют палками по пяткам. Тюремная администрация не прокомментировала утверждения, заявив, что «минюст уже дал разъяснения».
Мехмет Али Кайан, который был доставлен в тюрьму Афьйонкарахисар десять дней назад, рассказал, что он и другие заключенные подвергаются голому досмотру.
